entrpr. turns open, official statistics into a fast, browsable reference. Here is exactly where the numbers come from and how we handle them.
Countries are ranked on the selected indicator using the most recent year each country reports. Because reporting years differ, a country's latest value may be from a slightly earlier year than its neighbour's. Every figure on a country page shows its year.
We include 183 countries with reported data. Some economies (including the United States) do not report to these World Bank series and appear as "no data" on the map.
A scheduled job re-fetches every source once a week and rebuilds the site. If a source is temporarily unreachable, the last good data is kept rather than showing gaps. Last refreshed 01 July 2026.
